The Blue is non coaches. 26 Football coaches out of the 50 states are the highest paid official in their state. 13 Basketball coaches out of the 50 states are the highest paid official in their state. This means that 39 out of the 50 states highest paid state official is a athletic coach. the rest are either Med school deans, presidents of schools, or plastic surgeons.
